Cloud Voice adds speech-to-speech conversation with the tools you enable. It runs on your Clabrate account and uses credits: an account is given 30,000 free starting credits, once per email address and once per installation of the app. Cloud models for enhancement and the assistant are optional too. Each of those uses your own API key or login, and you pay that provider directly.
Clabrate sells no credits, subscriptions or allowances. Top-ups cannot be bought yet; you can register interest in the app or on the Account page of this site.

Yes. Clabrate types at your cursor, so anywhere you can place a cursor — Mail, Slack, your code editor, a browser form — is somewhere Clabrate can write. No special target app, no copy-paste step.
Enhancement rewrites your raw speech into the style you want: a clean message, a formal email, a tidy commit. It can run on a model on your Mac, fully on-device. If you want a big cloud model instead, bring your own API key. Nothing goes to a cloud you did not set up.
Not with enhancement on. Speak the way you actually speak: fillers, backtracks, “wait, no” corrections. Enhancement keeps the version you meant and drops the debris. Raw transcription types what you said.
Yes, after you have verified your email on that Mac. The on-device features keep working when you are offline, signed out, or your sign-in session has expired. Account changes need a connection and a valid sign-in. Cloud Voice needs a connection and a signed-in Clabrate account.

Dictation is transcribed on your Mac. If you turn on Cloud Voice, your Mac sends your audio, the conversation, enabled tool results and anything you attach directly to its provider. The Privacy Policy lists each provider and what it receives.
Not in the Mac app or on this website. Clabrate sells no subscriptions or credits. Cloud Voice uses credits on your Clabrate account: the starting credits are free, and top-ups cannot be bought yet (you can register interest in the app or on the Account page of this site). The other cloud AI features use your own API key or login, and you pay that provider directly. The Terms and the Refund Policy say what is sold and how refunds work.
A verified email address is how you sign in. You can sign out, change the address or delete your account in Settings → About & updates. Your account does not store or sync your settings, history or your Mac’s Spot Collection; those stay on your Mac. If you sign in to Spot on Android, your account stores that app’s Collection and purchases.
Signing out ends the session; that Mac remembers you verified, so the on-device features keep working. Deleting your account removes your email address from our service and signs that Mac out until you verify an email address again. Neither erases the settings, history, downloaded models or Spot Collection on your Mac. Deleting your account also deletes the Spot on Android Collection and purchases stored on it. If you paid for anything there, read the Refund Policy before you delete.
In the Mac app, only if you turn it on. It asks once whether it may count how it is used: which features, dictation modes and built-in tools you use, which kind of AI provider, whether setup steps worked and rough timings. It never collects audio, transcripts, anything you dictate or type, screenshots or your email. It is off unless you turn it on, and turning it off deletes the counts. Rewarded ads in Spot on Android are separate: when it shows the ad provider’s consent tool or an ad, the provider’s SDK collects information from your phone to show and measure ads. The website, clabrate.com, uses Google Analytics. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and where we cannot tell which country you are in, it stays off until you accept. Elsewhere it is on unless you turn it off or your browser sends a privacy signal. Cookie settings in the footer of any page turns it off.
You no longer need it. Clabrate now unlocks with a verified email address instead of a license key. For help with an earlier order, email support@clabrate.com.
